My Approach

Therapy that looks beyond the surface.

Your reactions, emotions, and relationship patterns don't exist in isolation. They develop through experiences, relationships, and the ways you've learned to navigate the world.

Understanding those connections is often an important part of meaningful change.

01

Relational & attachment-based

Our relationships shape how we experience life.

From early on, the people around us teach us what to expect: whether it's safe to need others, how conflict goes, what we have to do to be loved.

Those lessons carry into adult relationships — showing up in how we trust, communicate, and react. We'll explore yours with compassion, so you can choose your responses rather than repeat them.

02

Emotionally Focused Therapy

Understanding the emotions underneath the cycle.

EFT helps people — especially couples — identify the recurring interaction patterns they get stuck in and the emotions and attachment needs driving them.

Once the cycle is visible, partners can step out of blame and start responding to what's really going on for each other.

03

EMDR

Processing experiences that continue to affect the present.

EMDR is a structured approach that can help some clients process distressing memories using guided bilateral stimulation.

The goal is for painful experiences to feel more like the past and less like right now. It's used thoughtfully, with preparation, and only when it fits.

04

Collaborative therapy

You bring your experience. I bring curiosity, perspective, and clinical training.

There's no rigid, one-size-fits-all process here. I also draw on family systems thinking and practical DBT skills when they're useful.

We'll decide together what to focus on, check in on what's helping, and adjust along the way.

Let's figure out what works for you.
